Refurbishment of the Marbella football stadium

Waterproofing and structural repairs of the North and East stands of the Marbella Football Stadium.

Both the precast concrete parts and the plastic seats for waterproofing both stands were removed. For this purpose, a suitable substrate preparation and the application of pure hot polyurea was carried out. On top of this, a protective membrane ensuring a C3 level was applied to guarantee the non-slipperiness of the treated areas. A total of 820 square metres in the East stand and 580 square metres in the North stand will be waterproofed using pure polyurea prepared to withstand high traffic in the Marbella Football Stadium.

Structural repairs to the stands were carried out using metal profiles and high-strength, high-adhesion technical mortars. As a result, 112 units of floor joists are repaired.

The works also include complementary painting, repair of false ceilings, plastering and construction of new rooms.
